Dr. Mila Ioussifova earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 2007 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Her optometric training was diverse, including internship rotations at Portland VA Medical Center in Portland, OR and several Community Health Centers in Boston.

Dr. Ioussifova (also called Dr. Mila by her patients) has experience in specialties including ocular disease management, low vision, specialty contact lens fitting and pediatric and vision therapy. Dr. Ioussifova earned clinical honors and was awarded the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society for her outstanding academic achievement. She went on to complete a residency program in Community Health based Primary Care at Dorchester House Multi-Service Center in Dorchester, MA. She provided care to a diverse patient population and collaborated with other eye care specialists from the Boston Medical Center. Dr. Ioussifova is competent in diagnosing and treating most ocular diseases, and screening for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.

After completing her residency, Dr. Ioussifova was eager to return to Oregon. She received her Bachelor Degree in Science in 2002 from the University of Oregon and is proud to be a Duck. Dr. Ioussifova loves the outdoors of the Northwest and enjoys snowboarding and traveling. She is a native to Azerbaijan, and speaks fluent Azeri and Russian.

Prior to attending optometry school, Dr. Ioussifova worked as an optician and optometric technician. Dr. Ioussifova has a well-rounded understanding of excellent patient care. She is committed to providing the highest quality of eye care and makes that her priority with each patient encounter.

Dr. Ioussifova is currently licensed to practice Optometry both in Massachusetts and Oregon. She is a member of MSO (Massachusetts Society of Optometry), OOPA (Oregon Optometric Physicians Association), AOA (American Optometric Association) and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
